Sr. Automation Testing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Testing Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Automation Testing Engineer, Will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. His primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks and driving the adoption of automation best practices across the organization.

• Collaborate with the development team and business stakeholders to understand software requirements and define test objectives and strategies. Identify test scenarios and create test plans.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks. Write code to automate test cases, perform data-driven testing, and integrate tests with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results. Identify and report defects, track their progress, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Design and implement test frameworks, libraries, and utilities to enhance test automation efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
• Ensure adequate test coverage by designing and implementing test scenarios that exercise various aspects of the software. Collect and analyze test metrics to assess the quality and effectiveness of the testing process.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Document test results, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices. Continuously improve the test automation process and contribute to the overall software development process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand requirements, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the testing team.
• Contribute to the overall quality assurance activities, including manual testing, regression testing, and performance testing, as needed.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing, including analyzing logs, debugging code, and identifying root causes.

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Computer Science, Engineering) preferred or equivalent technical job experience.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of Experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in testing automation.
• Hands-on experience in testing automation tools.
• Experience in API testing.
• Experience in payment industry is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience in Software Testing methodologies and techniques, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a must.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Working knowledge of C#, Java, and Golang.
• ISTQB certification(s) is a plus.
